ATLANTA, Ga. - Class of 2015 four-star defensive end Arden Key 6'6" 225lbs (Lithonia, Ga./Hapeville Charter) recently released a top five, in order, Oregon, Miami, LSU, Ole Miss and South Carolina.

The 6-foot-6, 225-pounder, who has a rating of 0.9413 in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite discussed what he likes about each of the five programs leading the way.

Oregon: First off, it's Oregon, it's a Nike factory and all that. I've got a good relationship with coach (Don Pellum) -- he's been recruiting me since my 10th-grade year. That's one of the schools that I want to take my officials to, so I put them in the top five.

Miami: It's Miami -- you've got to love Miami. I'm planning on going down there this summer and visiting there.

LSU: Coach Brick (Haley) -- good relationship -- they started recruiting me my 10th-grade year, but we started talking strong 11th-grade. As a matter of fact, I take a visit down there May 31st."

Ole Miss: "They're coming up. They're playing a lot of true freshmen, so that puts them up on the map. And they need a couple of pass-rushing defensive ends, so that puts them up.

South Carolina: "I was committed to them at first. Me and (Lorenzo) Ward, we've got like a brother relationship, basically. South Carolina, they love me, fan-wise, coaching-wise, everything about South Carolina, you've got to love South Carolina."

Key also plans to visit South Carolina on June 13 and Ole Miss on June 6.

The Gamecocks do have some help in class of 2014 signees Bryson Allen-Williams and Wesley Green.

"They're my boys. We talk every day," Key says. "If I go to South Carolina, they will have helped. Those two will have helped. Put it like that."

Key, who is ranked as the industry's No. 10 weakside defensive end, says of his top five that "they're real close, nobody is far off."

What's going to be important to the nation's No. 125 overall prospect when it becomes decision time?

"It will have to be coaching-wise," Key said. "The top five schools I have, they're high on graduation-rates. I have a good relationship with them. It will have to be the school, the fans loving me and all that. That will probably be it."

Key also has a timetable for a decision.

"Signing day, maybe -- I'm going to be participating in the Army bowl game, so I'll probably commit then," Key said. "I don't want to wait too late, so I'll probably commit then."
