COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina senior forward Maik Kotsar and R-freshman guard Jermaine Couisnard were honored with SEC postseason accolades today from the league's coaches.  Kotsar was named to the All-SEC Second Team, and Couisnard earned All-Freshman Team honors, marking the first postseason awards for both student-athletes.  (VIEW ARTICLE)

congrats on everyone and kotsar making 2nd team all sec, but the sec basketball coaches or whoever is filling out their ballots are idiots.  even with our struggles down the stretch its insane kotsar didnt make 1st team all defense when he should have won dpoy.  i actually thought the coaches might get it right and the media would blow it.

Congrats to Jermaine and Maik. Maik has had an excellent senior season. I agree that Maik was dpoy and had the wtf moment when I saw Pons won it.

Agre, he plays on the best defensive team in conference play, leads it on the defensive end but is not one of the best defenders in the SEC, they got that one wrong!
