USC coach Will Muschamp is committed to offering in-state players he feels can win at the SEC level and Monday he made the call to DE Tyreek Johnson 6'4" 245lbs of Lakewood. Johnson also has an offer from Coastal Carolina. He’s also drawn interest from Clemson and Duke.
“He went to USC’s junior day and he likes USC a lot,” said Lakewood coach Brian Jackson. “Clemson wants him to come in for a one day camp this summer and it’s the same with USC.”
Johnson visited Coastal Carolina this past weekend.
Last season Johnson had 89 tackles with 21 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and he caused 4 fumbles.
