Lammons commits to the Gators

DB Chris Lammons of Fort Lauderdale, FL Monday announced a commitment to Florida over Tennessee and USC. Lammons made the announcement on ESPNU. Lammons visited USC last month and there were reports he wanted to commit to USC at that time, but the Gamecocks didn't know if they had room for another cornerback. USC later told Lammons they could take him but he did not immediately jump on that opportunity. And after further reflection, he chose the home state Gators. Lammons plays quarterback in high school but is seen as a cornerback for college.
