89 days until my favorite part of the season.
Old Dominion will be at Williams Brice for our opener. We are already 17 pt. favorites. I hate that they put the game at 1:00 PM. That is about the hottest time during the day.

I have had season tickets the last 4 years up in sec. 304 row 16. Great seats close to mid-field. My Sister, my niece and her 2 daughters and I all sat together.
But we were just getting tired of those ramps, and we needed another seat for when my niece's husband could get off work and wanted to join us.
So, we decided to pay a little extra. We are moving to the Cockaboose Club and have 6 seats now.

No more Ramps to climb. AMEN. No more dealing with rainstorms; we can always go inside and watch it on the TV. Hot day, like 1:00 PM on Aug. 31st, I can go inside and cool down some during halftime. Supposedly no more long lines at concessions. Supposedly no more long lines at restrooms.
I really think it will be worth the few extra dollars.
Not sure how the game will be from the endzone, but I am up on row 20. And I am looking straight at the big screen if they are on the far end of the field.
These 3 months take forever, but I am looking forward to this season.
As long as the injuries stay away, I think we will have a much better team than we had to deal with last year. Way more reserves to keep everyone rested. Way better Defense. Way better O-line. I think Sellers is going to be one of the best QB's we ever had.
Am I dreaming with my Garnet glasses on? Like I said. It we stay healthy; we will be a very good team this year. I say 9 wins can happen with a couple big upsets. We have a couple really good 5-stars now and they will make a difference.

Congrats on the seats upgrade.
I know having the club section will be nice. Still not sure how the view of the game will be going from the 40-45 yard line to the endzone. a few years back I sat up in 905 and it was okay but that is way higher. Back then we did not have the big screen yet.

One time about 10 years ago I even got ahold of a ticket up in the ZONE for a game against Vanderbilt. To be honest, I enjoyed all the free food and snacks so much, and we were killing Vandy, I probably spent most of that game inside. I don't remember if I had a good view or not. I do remember the seats had armrest. It would be great if every seat in the stadium had them, but it would probably cut the crowd size down 20 or 30%

Back in the 1990 - 2015, I always got my tickets from people outside the stadium. I went to about 3 or 4 games a year back then. I was told not to get them on the streets. The people on stadium property had to sell them for face value or less.
It was really good luck.
He was standing right there near the street, but he was on stadium property. He had about 6 tickets but in the middle, that 1 zone ticket. The game was about to start, and he just wanted $40 for it. That was classy up there with great food on the buffet. After halftime they even brought out ice cream.

Hopefully Kingston's firing was a wake-up call for the football coaching staff and we play good this year.

I'm trying not to get caught up in the Sellers and Sanders hype. I don't know, can we eke out a 6 - 6 season?
