Let’s Take A Take Closer Look At The Top Remaining Targets For The 2020 Recruiting Class

South Carolina just had a huge recruiting weekend where they picked up five commits, including four star DT Alex Huntley.

This boosted their 2020 recruiting class up to the number five class in the SEC and the number 10 class nationally according to the 247sports composite rankings.

Although the Gamecocks picked up a lot of commitments from Muschamp’s summer camp, they still have plenty of talented targets left who could launch this class into the top five nationally.

Here are the top three players left to get for the 2020 recruiting cycle:

4 star OL Issiah Walker Jr.

Walker the 17th ranked tackle and 149th player nationally. He has already committed to the Gamecocks, but it almost feels like he’s still unsure of where he wants to go.

He posted a graphic on his twitter page that seemed to show his top schools. He also visited Florida, and it looks like he still might be considering them as much as South Carolina.

Muschamp will have to fight to keep him in Columbia.

5 star DE Jordan Burch

This will be the most interesting battle for a recruit because it seems to be between South Carolina and their top two rivals, Clemson and Georgia.

A lot of people see Burch as the next Jadaveon Clowney. It’s almost impossible to tell who he is leaning towards, but he has taken plenty of visits to South Carolina recently.

I think it’s fair to say that they’re trending for him.

4 star RB Tank Bigsby

South Carolina already has four star Marshawn Lloyd, who was a surprise commit, and this could hurt South Carolina’s chance to land Bigsby.

Bigsby is still favored to go to South Carolina, but Georgia is also recruiting him even though South Carolina needs a running back more. I think Bigsby will eventually commit to South Carolina due to the fact that they need him more.

Muschamp also brought out an actual tank for Bigsby to pose on, and that could be part of a commitment video.

Conclusion

There’s still a lot more talent out there that South Carolina could land to finish with a top five class. This includes guys like Desmond Evans, Tonka Hemingway and Reggie Grimes, but the three I described above are the most interesting to me
