Four-star defensive end Marquavius Lewis is set to sign with South Carolina on Wednesday, he told SportsTalk on Tuesday afternoon. Lewis, who will have a ceremony at Greenwood High School on Wednesday at 4 p.m., is set to enroll when the spring semester starts on January 13.
“That’s what it’s looking like, yes sir,” Lewis told SportsTalk.
South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier was in to visit with Lewis on Saturday. He also hosted coaches from Auburn, the primary threat to South Carolina, on Friday but it was prior to the hiring of new defensive coordinator Will Muschamp.
“That’s what it’s looking like, yes sir,” Lewis told SportsTalk.
