Obviously won't be as big a class as in year's past (numbers-wise), but I like the talent in this group. Combine that with our staff's track record of getting players that fit our program and developing them, and you have to be excited about this class. I understand why some get frustrated with not landing the number of "5 stars" seen with other teams, but recruiting is not an exact science. And while you want to land 5 stars (who wouldn't?), is there really a dramatic difference between mid/high level "3 stars" and "4 star" players, from a talent/ability standpoint?
Bottom line, if you can consistently land top 20-25 recruiting classes, with guys that fit your systems, and develop those players (especially in the trenches), you will be a perennial Top 25 team and win your share of games >> which are the goals of every program, ultimately. I think our last four seasons show that to be true (AP - 22, 9, 8, 4). Go Cocks!
