By Phil Kornblut / June 29, 2022USC baseball coach Mark Kingston Tuesday talked to the media for the first time since the season ended for the Gamecocks in the opening round of the SEC Tournament in May. Since then, Kingston and his staff have been busy remodeling the roster. Typical of today’s college world, a number of players are leaving for a variety of reasons, and new blood is on the way via recruiting traditionally and through the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Tuesday night Kingston joined us on SportsTalk to close the book on the losing campaign of 2022 and to look ahead to what he fully expects to be brighter days for his program starting in 2023.
