According to a source, Laimonas Chatkevicius (6-10 230) of South Kent, CT signed a letter of intent with USC while on his official visit which concluded Friday. Chatkevicius and 6-8 fellow Lithuanian Minda Kacinas signed with the Gamecocks at the same time according to the source. The papers for both have been sent to Lithuania for their parents to sign to make the commitment official. Chatkevicius signed with Kansas State in November when Frank Martin was the coach there. He got his release from Kansas State earlier this week in time to make his official visit at the same time as Kacinas. The two are friends from their time in their native country.
