Looking forward to Wyoming

Sunday's game ought to be really big. For one, we need our pay back. I really expect Coach Martin to get a lot of the guys playing time again. Wy. is not going to be like Columbia Int. but they won't be to different either. Secondly, I really think we will score a lot. In Wyoming 1st game they had 1 guy score 75% of their points. They only had 3 Off. rebounds, 2 blocks, and only 4 assist the whole game, a 54-40 win over Idaho St. I really do not think we should have any problem putting them down. If I did not have to work I would be there.

We get 5 home games to open the season before we travels to Mexico for the Cancun Challenge. Hope we fill the CLA up real good for those and encourage our guys. I really hope they start 8-0.

It's definitely a game of note for the program: a win will not mean much at all for the season, but a loss could possibly haunt the team all season long, like the loss last season did. First off, we need to win any and all non-conference, early-season games we can, to ensure we're in better position for post-season consideration. But truly, it will be more of a personal victory of redemption, on a program level, but it's still important: this program is looking for redemption of any kind wherever it can find it......

The women's game against #4 Maryland starts at 3:00 pm tomorrow.

It would be nice if the school could leverage the new video equipment and pipe that game in for a double-header of sorts.
