Lot of teams setting at 4-3 or 4-4 right now

Clemson 4-3 possibly 4-4 Gators 4-4 Mizzu and other good teams.  Gamecocks 4-4. Why are Gamecock fans so upset including me on being 4-4? Is it the way we won and how we lost? Looking at some games today like Florida and Georgia 27- 0 under 3 minutes be they score 7 oe games like that.

One of the reasons people are upset at 4-4 is because all 4 of those wins were either semi-miraculous comebacks against inferior competition or playing an opponent from a lower division.

All four of the losses were just plain ugly.

It's hard to feel good about any of it so far. I'm not calling for anybody's head or any such nonsense (like I get a vote, lol), but it has been an odd, odd season. Totally agree with this.  From the looks of our last couple losses, we are regressing although the competition did step up.  Penalties and mental errors are still there and it looks like any win the rest of the season would be an upset for us.  We lack in experience, talent, coaching and depth.  Some of that should be improved with time but not this season and probably not next.  Long way to go for this to be a competitive team again.

Record about what I expected.  We gave away the KY game - 3 turnovers where we did not nothing.  That was a home game and ours for the taking and we shit the bed on too many offensive series after our defense got the ball for them. 

I guess I am upset for the reasons that Swayin' and gamecock88 mention.  I understand Beamer needs more time and I agree with that.  He has to recruit and get some kids from the portal.  It does seem at times our team has regressed throughout the season, not gotten better.  I honestly thought at this point in the season we would have 3-5 wins, but see a more competitive, disciplined team on the field.  Maybe my expectations from cleaning up the Muschamp mess were too high - not in wins and losses, but how we play on the field.  I just hope we can win a few more and begin to look better on the field.  I don't feel the team ever gives up, which is great, but still so many unforced mental errors.  I can't remember I time recently when our offense was this horrendous either.
