DE Travez Moore 6'3" 220lbs of Bastrop, LA has a top four of USC, TCU, LSU and Charlotte with the Horned Frogs holding a slight lead over the rest. He and his teammate WR Isaiah Graham plan to take official visits to USC together and at this point it looks like those visits will occur the weekend of the LSU game October 10th.
Moore said the only other official visit he plans to take is to TCU. He will go to LSU for the season opening game for an unofficial visit. He said because he visits LSU so much he doesn’t feel the need for an official visit there.
Moore said he talked over social media with USC recruiter Deke Adams Sunday. “He was asking me about my game (Friday),” Moore said. “He’s still interested in me coming to South Carolina. He’s been talking to me about defensive end and tight end. I’l play wherever they want me to play.”
Moore added that while he’s never been to USC and is still learning about the Gamecocks, he’s getting a good feeling from Adams.
“We’ve got an understanding with each other,” he said. “They show a lot of concern about my family.”
Moore said he will announce his decision October 9th which is the night of his homecoming game. He had 3 tackles and 1 sack in his team’s opener last week.
Basketball Note…
6-6 De’Riante Jenkins of Hargrave Prep, VA has set an official visit to Rutgers for September 25th. That’s the fourth visit he has scheduled. He also has trips set with Clemson, Tennessee and VCU.
