One of the nation’s final remaining major unsigned prospect in the 2018 recruiting year is OL Dylan Wonnum of Tucker, GA.   The brother of USC defensive end DJ Wonnum made official visits to Tennessee, Auburn and last weekend to USC.  He plans to make his decision before National Signing Day after one more round of conversations with the three head coaches.  Auburn’s Gus Malzahn met with Wonnum and his family at the school Monday.

“We just talked about the basic recruiting stuff, the same stuff all the folks talk about,” said Wonnum’s mother Consuela.  “Nothing out of the ordinary.  Coach Malzahn was very informative and answered all of our questions.”

The meeting last about an hour and a half and Auburn assistant coach Larry Porter also sat in on the meeting.

Tuesday night Tennessee coach Jeremy Pruitt will have his meeting with the family and that will take place at the home.   USC coach Will Muschamp will be in later in the week, either Thursday or Friday.

Wonnum had said he would make a decision before the weekend but his mom said it might take a little longer.

“Dylan said he’s going to think about it over the weekend and he’ll probably have something before Signing Day.  It will definitely be before Signing Day.”
