Interesting, it doesn't say where he going. I hate to lose such a good man, but his replacement is no slouch himself.

Imagine having both. I too wonder where he is headed but i'm sure he'll be doing something awesome somewhere

Hate to see Latie move on but really Connor will be just as good. Two great Gamecocks. Both have outstanding character.

Man....love me some Marcus! I hope he's moving up to something better.

Maybe I’m the only one who isnt sad about this. He should leave SC for a while to gain more experience and when he gets it and wants to return he will be welcomed back.

I am good as I do think Marcus has so many other interest that do not involve football and would not be surprised if he is pursuing something outside the football realm.  He knows he can come back anytime.  I have always thought Shaw could make a good coach.  He is a cerebral player and a coaches kid and made up where he lacked in natural talent with his knowledge.  Those are the kind of guys that tend to make the best coaches.  I hope he can come on board and begin to grow within the football program.

Totally agree. Would love to have here as well.

He wants to travel and study overseas. Good luck to Marcus.

He will be missed for sure, he’s going to higher levels.  I hope he replaces Todd Ellis on the play by play

Head scratcher for me.
Same.

I'm also not sure Shaw is going to be as good.  Lattimore was just always speaking out for different things and strikes me as such a great motivator.  Not to denigrate Shaw but I don't think we've seen the same from him, and he seems to be still trying to find his place since his NFL career ended.  The caveat obviously is that we don't know what went on behind the scenes when he played, and I'd think this role would be more like that anyways.
