A companion to the Band of Brothers and The Pacific series produced for Apple TV, it was set in the 100th Bomb Group of the Eighth Air Force in Europe during WW2. The unit took some of the heaviest losses during the war and was known as the "Bloody 100th".
Twenty planes started out for the Munster mission. Four turned back for mechanical issues, leaving 13 to go the rest of the way. The aircraft of Robert "Rosie" Rosenthal was the only one that bombed the target and made it back.
