Mclendon hired by Steelers?

As a steelers fan I am very turn off out about this hire.

I mean I'm happy for the guy, because I'm sure that's a nice jump in both pay and prestige, but what the hell are they thinking up in Pittsburgh? 

 
McClendon seems like a solid guy, but I don’t blame him for making a move after being demoted. I such him the best.

 
JC Shurburtt, on his daily podcast, said that local media jumped the gun and that McClendon is only a candidate at this time/has not been hired by the Steelers yet. The Steeler sites reporting the news apparently were citing local coverage rather than confirming with Steelers media relations. 

As with recruiting, the numbers always work out.
