COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Southeastern Conference released today information on the newly formed scheduling alliance that has been created with The American Conference, and it was announced that South Carolina will host Houston on Dec. 8, at Colonial Life Arena in non-conference action. COLUMBIA, S.C. - The South Carolina men's basketball team will hold its sixth annual 8K Campaign, beginning with community outreach events this week in Columbia. The campaign is aimed at reaching 8,000 fans in the greater Columbia community with outreach events during the summer months.
During this year's campaign, the Gamecocks will visit the Dorn VA Medical Center and the Ronald McDonald House, while also helping with a Habitat for Humanity project. Carolina will spend time at the YMCA, as well as with the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department, in addition to visiting Transitions, Sowing Seeds and the Harvest Hope Food Bank.(READ MORE)
