LB TJ Minniffee 6'3" 225lbs of Lebanon, TN earned a scholarship offer from USC recruiter Bobby Bentley last month with an impressive workout at a satellite camp in Nashville. The offer moved the Gamecocks to the top of his list though he also likes Louisville and Purdue. He will be at Will Muschamp’s camp Tuesday and a commitment is not out of the question.
“It’s very possible,” Minniffee sid. “I’ll be camping so most likely I’ll ll be talking with him (Muschamp) after.” The camp begins at 10:00 AM.
If he decides to commit, Minniffee said he’s been told by the Gamecock coaches he’s a take.
“They also know I don’t want to rush it,” he said. “I want to make sure the situation is right. If I don’t commit, I wouldn’t be quick to say that I don’t like it. I may just need some time.”
Minniffee is one of several players the Gamecocks are recruiting in the middle Tennessee area and several of them will visit this month. Another one who will be at Tuesday’s camp is DL Ben Hutch of Nashville.
