Mizzou game

Missouri has won the last 5 years including 34-12 last season.
I do not believe anyone on our team will take them lightly. We should be very prepared and give them a really good spanking. We have been winning our SEC games by 21+ points this year. I expect we will beat Mizzou 35 -7.

Mizzou looks to have a good D front and some other player on D to make this tough. Their OL is beat up some but still very stout. 2 WRs that are better than most that we have faced outside of Ole Miss. Hopefully, we get the run game going early and wear them down since they’ve got quite a few players listed as doubtful or out. Can’t have turnovers and miscues allowing them to keep it close. Looking for us to be dialed in and ready.

Agree, don't get cute with them at all, just pound the ball, dink and dunk, take a shot over the top to keep them honest and let the Defense be Special!!

Looking forward to our guys making us proud!
W-B will be rocking!
Go Gamecocks!

For that shovel pass to win it, that's about as animated as you'll hear Tommy. Love it!

Todd: "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!"
Tommy: "YEAH....HELL NO, WE JUST SCORED!!!!"

I have absolutely 0 problems with having Gamecock homers on the broadcasting teams.

Those last minutes of the 4th quarter, the kids looked like they were having fun in a Friday night HS football game; that's just what stands out to me.

No panic on Sellers' face and he looked like avoiding that sack was nothing to him.

Brady Hunt looks like he's catching a pass at a Saturday afternoon pick-up game in somebody's backyard.

Then Rocket jumps to his left and makes one of the initial tacklers miss. That shovel pass play stops right there if he doesn't juke the guy.

Great play-calling plus great individual efforts from key players at the right time.

Our games are great TV right now and I believe we'll make the play-offs if we do well against Wofford and Clemson because of our ridiculous SoS.

I hope you're right, but unfortunately I don't think it's in our control. I think the SEC may get 4 teams in the playoffs, as well as the Big 10. I don't see any conference getting 5 teams in the current playoffs system because of conference politics. So currently from the SEC, these are the teams that we would need to leapfrog in order to get in: Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M -- all with only two losses and Texas with one loss. I do believe, if we win out, we would be the first three loss team into the playoffs.

Here are the remaining schedule for the SEC teams we need to jump over:
1. Texas - (KY and Texas A&M)
2. Tenn - (UTEP and Vandy)
3. Bama - (OK and Auburn)
4. GA - (UMass and GA Tech)
5. Ole Miss - (FL and Miss St)
6. Texas A&M - (Auburn and Texas)

So we need at least 3 upsets in those games (the more SEC teams with 3 losses, the better for us). If Texas beats A&M, that eliminates A&M. Of the remaining games, my guess for best chance at upsets -- Vandy over TN, Auburn over Bama, and FL over Ole Miss. The first two are rivalry games, so that gives the underdogs a "punchers" chance, and the last one assumes the FL that showed up against LSU is the same team against Ole Miss. Not that I would pick any of these upsets to happen, just my best guess as the most likely opportunities.

And then even if a bunch of SEC teams lose in upsets, it's still conditional that the Playoff Committee only gives 1 spot to the Big 12 and ACC, and that it doesn't give spots to potential 1 loss teams like Indiana, Army, etc...

As long as we are in a position of having to pull for upsets, the best scenario might be Miami to lose another game (Wake Forest and Syracuse) and for Clemson and Texas A&M to win the ACC and SEC championship games leaving a 9-3 South Carolina able to claim wins over two conference champions. Combined with strength of schedule and the ability to claim victories over 2 conference champions would give SC, in addition to 4 quality wins over ranked teams a pretty strong argument.

I'm not holding my breath for any of these scenarios to play out, but I'll be happy if we take care of our business and finish the regular season at 9-3. That would far exceed my expectations going into the season.
