RB Jordan McDonald of Alpharetta, GA Saturday committed to UCF over the Gamecocks.
LB Lee Kpogba of East Mississippi JC, who has a Gamecock, offer, was offered by Louisville.
RB Kanye Udoh of Richland, NJ, who visited Gamecocks for games earlier in the season, visited Pitt Saturday for the Clemson game. In his game Friday night, Udoh rushed for 194 yards and one touchdown.
2023 DE Zavion Hardy (6-5 235) of Macon, GA has Gamecocks in his top 10. The others are Virginia Tech, Georgia, Ole Miss, NC State, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Arizona State, Michigan and Southern Cal. He was at the Gamecocks for a camp in June.
2024 WR Mazeo Bennett of Greenville was offered by Virginia Tech Saturday while on a visit to Blacksburg. He made an unofficial visit to the Gamecocks this past Tuesday.
2024 QB Jadyn Davis of Catawba Ridge was offered by North Carolina. The Tar Heels join the Gamecocks, Ohio State, Tennessee, Penn State, Texas A&M and Auburn as some of his major offers. Davis visited Tennessee for the Ole Miss game. He’s also been to the Gamecocks, Georgia and Ohio State for games this season. He also attended the Clemson-Georgia game in Charlotte to open the season.
