Moore closing in again on decision

OL TJ Moore of Charlotte thought he would make his college commitment in late June but that didn’t happen, largely because he’s waiting to hear from Alabama on an offer. Now, Moore is confident enough in his thinking to set another date for an announcement, August 1st.
Moore will announce his decision via Twitter and will decide between USC, NC State, North Carolina and Tennessee. Alabama remains in the mix but he has not received an official offer there yet.
Moore visited Alabama this summer and participated in Nick Saban’s summer camp. According to Moore, Saban spoke to him in his office for approximately 20 minutes after the camp and was complimentary of his performance that day. Moore said he’s expecting a call from Alabama at the end of the month.
When the time comes for him to make the decision, Moore said several factors will come into play.
“It comes down to good coaches, good family, good community, somewhere I can play early at and make a name for myself, somewhere that can make me elite pretty much,” Moore said. “I also want a life after football.”
Before he announces his decision, Moore plans to make one more round of visits to his top schools. He wants to visit NC State Friday but isn’t sure if he can make it. He also said there’s a possibility he will attend the Spurs Up Cookout at USC Saturday, but does not know for sure yet
