Former USC commitment DB Marlon Character is close on his decision between Louisville and West Virginia.
Former USC commitment OL LaMarius Benson of Covington, GA committed to UCF.
Chapman RB DJ Twitty was offered by East Tennessee He also has a walkon offer from USC.
Spartanburg LB Connor Shugart committed to North Greenville. He had considered a preferred walkon offer from USC.
USC is in the top 10 with 2019 DE Derick Hunter of Fort Myers, FL. His others are Florida, Miami, Mississippi State, Oregon, Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Maryland and Penn State.
USC and Clemson target 2019 DE Curtis Fann of Twin Cities, GA was offered by Notre Dame.
USC target 2019 DE Joseph Anderson of Murfreesboro, TN was offered by Arkansas.
USC offered 2019 OL Will Putnam (6-4 280) of Tampa.
