More names to the visitor list for Saturday night vs. Clemson
Nov. 26, 2021
Gamecocks at home vs Clemson Saturday night, the Gamecocks get the benefit of the recruiting home field advantage this time in the Palmetto Bowl. Dozens of recruits from a variety of classes are scheduled to be at Williams-Brice Stadium, including top linebacker prospect Stone Blanton of Madison, MS. A possible visitor is top receiver target Antonio Williams of Dutch Fork. He has been scheduled for an official visit to Auburn for the Iron Bowl Saturday, but he has a playoff game at Fort Dorchester Friday night, and the late return home might preclude him from hitting the road early Saturday morning. And that could lead to the short trip over to Williams-Brice Saturday night. Neither Williams nor his parents have confirmed their plans for the weekend. Williams made an unofficial visit to Clemson last weekend and was offered on the visit. He has taken official visits to USC and Ole Miss.
