3 star Tyshun Samuel 5'11" 183lbs of Chapman seems to be unaware of an offer he has received from USC. His coach told Palmetto Sports that Samuel received an offer from the Gamecocks Saturday while on a visit. Samuel was not as sure. "They told me they are definitely interested," Samuel said. "I'm supposed to call them back this week to talk to them about it. I don't know if they've offered me yet or not." Samuel enjoyed the visit to Columbia and said an offer could mean a commitment. "I just loved everything about it," he said. "I loved the whole football side of things with the way they do things, to the locker room...and the academics were really nice." When asked if an offer would mean a commitment, he replied, "Yes sir." Samuel is considering USC and North Carolina and is not talking to any other programs. He has not taken an official visit to North Carolina nor has he scheduled one.
