Convince me other wise.  (feel free to add to list)

3-14 against ranked teams.

20 double digit losses.  (Sparky had 17)

.500 record after 4.5 years

terrible defense

no discipline

mediocre offense

poor clock management

poor in game adjustments

poor player development

refusal to change QBs during game

tendency to try and kick 50+ yard FGs instead of going for the 1st down  (especially when you're down by 3 TDs)

He will go after the refs over a bad call, but is silent when a player is not performing the way he should during a game.

Very un-Boom of him.

So we lose.

I don't think USC has a choice.

Can't give him a contract extension because he doesn't deserve one.

No contract extension means he's almost certain to be fired.

Seems the buyout is now low enough that it can be managed via negotiations and deferred payments.

I seriously doubt he goes anywhere but if so Tanner has got to go with him.  We went bargain basement shopping for OTJ training at AD.  He's not it.    If there was a way to move Muschamp and the $15M owed him, we probably lose some recruits and possibly a player or two.  Without a major splash hire, we are a project team with a subpar history in a tough conference, small recruiting base, nations #1 team as our rival, most in conference rivals on the upswing, most regional recruiting competition on the upswing,  not a destination job or even a jumping off point.  This is an extremely tough sell.  Tanner couldn't sell it in a good economy.  Won't now.   Not sure what gives you any optimism that Tanner or the BOT/Caslen, can make the right moves.  The university and the athletic dept are taking a bath right now over covid and some poorly timed spending.  Just don't see it happening.  But yes, he should go.

I just heard the best one on 107.5 the game.  "How long is "G.I. Joe" (USC President) going to wait before HE pulls the trigger!

That's what it  take. Tanner and  Muschamp need to be shown the door.  I have no confidence in their ability to succeed.

Agreed.  I think the only question they have left is how much money do they lose getting rid of him verses keeping him.  Fans are tired of his coaching.  Not just a few or half but most everybody.  He's had plenty of time to learn from his mistakes as a HC and he just can't get over the hump.  Time for him to go back to being a DC or if he HAS to be a HC then some small naia school might want him.

It's past time for a change. I was pretty much ready to move on based on the ending of the 2018 season. Unfortunately, I think he's here for at least 1 more year.

I really don't think that's going to matter. When it's time to move on, they just do it. Worst case, they could reassign him and temp promote an asst. These guys are making lots of $$.

That SEC shorts video may have been the coffin nail....if the BOT sees that, it may spark some anger.

Playing for the low-percentage, onside kick instead of trusting your D with plenty of timeouts left.

We are 2-3 and our remaining schedule is:

vs A&M

@ Ole Miss

vs. Missouri

vs UGA

@ UK

The optimist says all but UGA are winnable, but the realist says A&M will be tough, I don't like our D against Ole Miss and I think Kiffen destroys us. Maybe we beat Missou, and I don't like UK to end the season by that point their season may still be worth something, whereas ours will have gone down in flames.

So yea 3-4 wins. I just dont see how we can point to beating Auburn and saying that's a program building win if we only win 3 or 4 games. Cut ties and move one. And please for the love of god, do not hire as HC anyone on this staff.

In a non covid year we would probably add 2 non-conf wins, so it puts us at 4-3. Win two of the remaining games and we would be 6-6. Not what you would expect in year 5 of a coach. I can't put my finger on it. Recruiting seems to be good. But it's not translating to success on the field. The most perplexing is our defense. That is supposed to be Muchampos strong suite. What happened?

6-6 in year 5 of a coach would be fireable, save for a pesky bowl win in the Indy Bowl. Then maybe keep his job. We are not the team we should be and sadly not much better off than when Muschamp came in. Certainly not in the W-L stat, but maybe in personnel.

I don't think we get rid of Tanner or CWM this year, but we should.  Covid is the monkey wrench here.  Tanner has shown he is not AD material and CWM has never been head coaching material.  So frustrating to see the coaching of this team - all levels, not just head coach.  I personally don't think our assistant coaches are very good either.  Maybe that is because of CWM, but they don't impress me.  Collin Hill has a horrible record as a starting QB.  He couldn't win in the MW conference and he is sub-par in the SEC.  The only team I see him starting for besides us is Vandy.  Hill is just not a winner.

Yeah it's weird, Muschamp checks all of the boxes when it comes to qualifications but for whatever reason it just doesn't translate to winning or having that "it" factor that most successful Head Coaches have.   I've heard from several sources that he's just too cerebral when it comes to coaching and makes things way more complicated than they need to be in terms of schemes.  The term used was "paralysis by analysis."
