What was your best day as a Gamecock?

Toss-up for me, Big Georgia winning the Heisman or beating No-1 Bama are my top two. That said I do favor Big George though. Also there are a few more in my book like betting Florida to win the SEC East. Winning our first bowl game, winning our first CWS and more.

My #1 has to be Whit Merrifield's historic single that scored Scott Wingo and won us the first National Championship. I was glowing all the next day as ESPN played highlights over and over, and I was proud to come to CLA a few days later and celebrate with the team (and about 14,000 fans!)

Close second would be Frank leading us to the Final Four!  This made an impact on me because basketball is my favorite college sport, and to see us knock off Marquette, Duke, Baylor and Florida all in succession (AND NEARLY BEAT a Gonzaga team that was clearly better than us!) was just a phenomenal achievement.  Coach Martin will be coaching at South Carolina as long as he likes as far as I am concerned!

Third place would be the NEXT national championship in baseball, and the incredibly impressive way in which we did it (10-0 in the postseason!)

As an aside, I don't think  we will ever see teams like those baseball teams again at South Carolina.

Beating Alabama only because one of my co-workers is the most obnoxious Alabama fan I've ever met.  I did not even have to say a word that Monday morning just looked at him in his misery and smiled.  Winning the first college world series was also one of the best.
