According to an article on NBC Sports, Latta native, and New York Knicks point guard Raymond Felton was arrested Monday night on three separate weapons charges.
Felton allegedly pointed a gun at a woman, the NBC Sports article says, according to multiple New York media outlets.
Following the Knicks' loss to the Mavericks Monday night, police wanted to speak to Felton; he later turned himself in.
Felton is expected to appear in court Tuesday morning. New York's gun possession laws are some of the strictest in the country.
This is the second year of Felton's three-year, $10 million contract. His wife recently filed for divorce, according to NBC Sports.
