New Football Scholarship

If you watch the Kentucky Derby, you might notice a horse with the Block-C logo out there. USC Alum Stephen Panus lost his son, Jake to an automobile accident. It was Jake's dream to become a Gamecock football player. So the family has established a scholarship in honor of Jake which will be granted to a walk-on who earns it.

As for the horse, Stephen is an executive with Jockey Club Media Ventures, and he worked it out with the school and the horse's trainer to sport the logo this weekend.
