New Jersey offensive lineman to visit Clemson & USC next week

4 star OL Will Fries (6-6 280) of Cranford, NJ will hit the recruiting trail early next month and his stops will include the Palmetto State. First, Fries will visit Northwestern April 3-4 and then he’ll head south to see Clemson April 6th and USC the following day.
“The Clemson offer came pretty early and I’ve been doing research on them,” Fries said. “I’m pretty excited about them and looking forward to getting down there on the visit.”
Fries also has looked into the USC program to have some idea what to expect when he gets to Columbia.
“Coach Spurrier is a great coach and they’ve been recruiting me pretty hard,” he said. “I’m interested in going down there and seeing what they are all about.” Fries said his mom will join him on the visits to Clemson and USC.
Fries said the schools are recruiting him as an offensive tackle. He has already see Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Duke and Virginia.
Fries said coaches like his athleticism and toughness. He also plays basketball and throws the shot put and discus in track.
He does not claim any early leaders and said he won’t rush into a decision.
