New York DL coming to visit USC

DL Romello Martin has been a major target of USC defensive line coach Lance Thompson for more than a year. He’s never visited USC but that will change a week from Saturday when he will come in unofficially to check out the program.
The visit is not part of a trip to see several schools. Martin said he’s traveling to see USC only.
“He (Thompson) is telling me they need some guys up front and I’m one of those guys that they need,” Martin said. “I want to see what the campus is like and what they have to offer. I’m excited about it to see what they are like.”
The visit will be his first to any school this summer.
Martin said USC sits in his top ten with Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Kansas, Rutgers, Syracuse, Penn State, Louisville and Miami. He does not plan to make a decision until late January or Signing Da
