When Clemson hosts North Carolina next Saturday, 4 star junior WR Divine Deablo (6-3 195) of Winston-Salem, NC will be there. It will not be his first trip to Clemson.
“I was there for a three-day camp this summer and I loved it,” Deablo said. “I love their coaches and the fans. It just felt like home. And they’ve got a great program.”
Deablo does not have any favorites but did say he is showing a lot of interest in the Tigers. He was at the USC season-opener this year and is showing equal interest in the Gamecocks.
“I love their coaches and fans too,” he said. “I love the rivalry (between Clemson and USC). Even though they (USC) lost, It didn’t change how I feel about them. They’re a better team than that and showed it last Saturday. I love the towel thing (Sandstorm) they do.”
His only other visit this season was to North Carolina when the Tar Heels hosted San Diego State. “They’re recruiting me the hardest and it’s a great school,” Deablo said. He is going to Virginia Tech this weekend and has plans to attend the Tennessee-Alabama game in Knoxville later this season.
His offers include Clemson, USC, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio State, NC State, Wake Forest, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Louisville and West Virginia among others.
As a sophomore, Deablo had over 700 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. He has 350 yards and two scores through four games this season.
Deablo said he plans to commit prior to his senior campaign. He does not have any favorites.
