Offensive lineman Tommy Hatton gets offer from Gamecocks

Class of 2015 four-star offensive lineman Tommy Hatton 6'3" 280lbs (Montvale, N.J./St. Joseph Regional) got some news he had been hoping for when South Carolina coaches, G.A. Mangus and Shawn Elliott got word to him that Hatton needed to give them a call.
"I called Coach Elliott first and we were talking and he was like, 'I want to let you know where you stand with the Gamecocks' and he was like, 'We're offering you a scholarship,'" Hatton said. "He was like, 'I've been hearing all types of good stuff about you and how hard you work, we really want you to be a part of the Gamecock family, we're going to do everything to get you here.'
"It was awesome. I called Coach Mangus and he told me the same thing, so it was like overwhelming. I'm really happy. It's my first SEC offer, but most importantly, South Carolina, when I went there, I had a really good feeling about it, so I'm really happy with it."
The 6-foot-3, 280-pound Hatton also has offers from Maryland, Boston College, UConn, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, Louisville, Rutgers and Temple among others.
