OL Emanuel McGirt has it down to four and will make his decision within two weeks

4 star OL Emanuel McGirt 6'6" 271lbs of Durham said Sunday night he has narrowed his decision to USC, Georgia, North Carolina and NC State and will make his decision before the end of the month.
McGirt recently visited UNC and NC State and will visit USC and Georgia either this week or next. “I liked North Carolina and the visit to NC State was alright,” he said. “I keep it all in perspective.”
McGirt talked with Gamecock offensive line coach Shawn Elliott last Thursday, the same day the Gamecocks landed a commitment from offensive tackle Austin Clark.
“He told me I could be their guy so come on board,” said McGirt who is being recruited for tackle. “I definitely told him South Carolina is a top choice. It’s not too far away. Education, SEC. Everything I would like in a school. It’s unfortunate I haven’t had a chance to visit. I’ve just been so busy. When you’ve got 25 schools telling you to visit, it’s hard to get everywhere.”
McGirt said he doesn’t have a leader among his final four and doesn’t have a specific date this month for his decision.
“I don’t want to decide before visiting South Carolina and Georgia,” he said. “They all want me, of course, but NC State is the most persistent. They were the first to offer.”
