Fort Dorchester OL John Simpson 6'4" 296lbs went to Florida in April, Alabama in May and Clemson in June. So far this month, he’s taken no visits. But this Friday he is going to Tennessee and the following Friday he plans to be at USC for the Gamecocks’ pool party.
These visits are part of Simpson’s due diligence with the schools he’s most interested in. LSU and Georgia are two other schools he wants to see this summer.
Since the Clemson visit which was for a three day camp, Simpson has had the Tigers at the top of his list but with a caveat…he is reserving a final decision until after the visits all the schools on his short list. Alabama is second on the list and USC is third.
Simpson had planned to wait until the Army All American Game to make a commitment but more recently he has talked about making his decision before his senior season.
