4 star OL [COLOR= rgb(178, 34, 34)]Ryan Bates[/COLOR] 6'5" 285lbs of Westminster, PA has a good idea of how he wants to attack his recruitment. Bates does not want to make it a long process but does want to be thorough. “I want to take some (unofficial) visits and then cut my list down to

about five,” he said. “I’ll start taking my official visits early this summer and then try to get that list down to two or three. I just want to make sure I pick the right school.” Very much in the mix for Bates is USC. He has no doubt they will make his list of five. “I talked to G.A. Mangus on Twitter the other day and was asking me when I should come down this spring,” Bates said. He picked up another SEC offer last week. Auburn now joins the mix. “They are telling how much they love my style of play and how they can’t wait to get me on campus,” he said. “I’ll definitely take a visit there too.” Next up for Bates is Penn State. He will visit the Nittany Lions this Saturday. Bates did not name a favorite nor did he give an exact time frame for a decision.
