There were a number of things that contributed to our loss in Knoxville. But, there is one that I think played a significant role in our down fall. And that is the fact UT had two weeks to prepare for us. I don't say that was the main reason we lost the game but I do believe it played a bigger role than most thought. UT came out ready to play and we didn't.

I just dont feel like "not being ready" is an excuse for a conference road game.

These guys bust thier tails with spring practice, summer workouts, fall practice, practice in-season...so to only have 12 games on the slate you shouldnt come out flat for any of the really but especially not a conference game. I dont think the 2 weeks prep time meant too much...it was a sloppy and ugly game by both teams really but we just looked awful.
