8 Shamier Jeffery *
9 Kwinton Smith *
10 Nick Jones
12 Jody Fuller *
23 Bruce Ellington
80 K.J. Brent *
82 D.L. Moore *
* guys over 6' Fuller, Roland and Smith are true FR.
D.L. Moore: He's in the starting lineup finally, and he's overdue for significant production. We threw very few passes on Thursday, but he should be a real factor this year.
DeAngelo Smith: The skinny on his career is that he lights it up in the spring, disappears in the fall. It's a mystery. Maybe it's not too late for him to contribute this fall, but I'm beginning to lose hope. Please prove me wrong DeAngelo!
Jeffrey: The talent is there, but it hasn't come together for him yet (injuries have played a part). I still like his upside, but we're not likely to see much of it this season.
Fuller and KJ Brent: Progressing, but not quite ready for primetime.
Roland and Kwinton Smith: Young studs; still new to the offense. I think both will contribute this season, particularly Roland. Don't be surprised if he cracks the starting lineup by mid-season and becomes our most dangerous receiver by season's end.
Speaking of guys over 6 feet, we are mega-loaded with talented 6-5 tight ends, and I HOPE that we start using them frequently, particularly in the red zone!
