4 star Outside linebacker P.J. Blue has seen his list of interested schools increase in recent weeks, and while juggling classwork and the logistics of recruiting, the 6-foot-2, 205-pound safety/linebacker is also in the process of making a big change with a school transfer.
"I am transferring to Park Crossing High School in Montgomery," said Blue who will now be paired up with fellow in-state prospect Jaewon Taylor at the second-year program. "That has been a pretty big deal lately and recruiting has stayed hectic. I was offered by Nebraska and Missouri sort of back to back this week which were two big offers. I know I am going to be trying to get to both of those schools later in the spring for sure."
Blue already holds an in-state offer from Alabama and was on campus at the end of January.
"Coach Bo Davis is recruiting me for Alabama," said Blue. "He relates to players really well and is a great coach. He continues to tell me that he is really interested in me. What sticks out to Alabama is that they take care of their players very well and they put you in a position to succeed. The weight room is the nicest one I have ever seen. The campus is beautiful. Just everything sticks out there. Everything is first class.
"I will be in Auburn this weekend and have plans to get to South Carolina and back to Alabama in the spring. The in-state schools, South Carolina and Nebraska stick out to me, but really everyone recruiting me really stands out. If a school has offered me, I want to see them and learn as much as I can about them. I would say Auburn is recruiting me the hardest but I am still waiting on an offer from them. South Carolina probably wants me as bad as anyone as a safety."
