P-51D Mustang Precious Metal qualifies for the Reno air races

Ah yes, the airplane that drove the final nail into the coffin of the Third Reich.  Outfitted with drop tanks they were able to escort bombers all the way to Berlin and were more than capable of shooting down any fighter the Germans had with the exception of the ME262.  What beautiful lines on that plane.

I always wanted to see someone take an F-16 around that course and see what it does.  :D

I watched a special about this plane. It was pretty cool. There was one in the F16 as well.

 
My dream job would be to work in one of those Warbird restoration shops.  Give me a roof over my head and a gym to work out in.  Pay would be irrelevant as long as I had enough for the basic needs.

Life is too short.
