Panthers’ Marcus Satterfield is the new OC

This is pure speculation, but I'm starting to think this was what Coach Beamer wanted from the beginning. Keeping Bobo was a concession to Tanner for financial reasons. I don't know much about this guy even though he coached the Panthers here in Charlotte.  He must be pretty good if Matt Ruhle brought him along from Baylor and he worked under Joe Brady.

Rhule may not be with the Panthers long if next season ends up like this one has at 5-11.

That might have made Satterfield's decision a little easier.

I don' think Rhule is going anywhere soon. That team is a total re-build and the owner gave him a long contract knowing that it was going to be.  They played very well considering all the rookies they started on defense and were in most of the games this season with the exception of a few that got away from them.  I think people know he is a good evaluator of coaching talent and he has been robbed of 3 of his offensive staff already since the end of the season.

Interesting hire and for the reasons already posted on this thread, have reason to be optimistic.  That other site is coming apart at the seams.

Honestly I don't know much about him, but I think he was on Beamers short list so I guess I will just roll with it and see what he has to offer.

I know beamer wants an offensive scheme similar to Oklahoma so, I assume Satterfield has an offense that fits

One more reason to thank Baby Jesus, Buddha, Allah, Vishnu, and whatever crazy-ass Tom Cruise's god is, that we are here, not there.
I can't stand going to other sites and reading the constant negativity and bashing.  I come here to have something to enjoy and be a distraction from the world going crazy.  That's also why I stay off the view point forum.  I have really enjoyed the coaching threads and hearing the opinions of others without having to insult the coaches and talk badly about everyone else's mother.

I just don't see why we don't hire the Facebook commenters. They know everything about everything and can tell why anyone mentioned sucks, what specifically needs to be addressed and how to fix it.
