First of all I think we need to do more screens to the WR but c ontrary to public opinion are recievers are getting open, Conner just have to let the ball go. I watched the Sports South replay with the wide angles(you can actually get a press box view) where you can see routes develop.

1st Q 7:43 1st and 15 Vandy is in a zone coverage. Ace runs a curl at ten yards and is WIDE OPEN, shaw takes his 3 step drop looks off the check down to Marcus and takes off. The very next play misses Cunningham in the flat and throws the pick intended for Moore
2nd Q 10:03 2nd and 7 Vandy is agan ina zone coverage both outside recievers run curls. Both DL and ace are open when Shaw hits his last step but he fails to pull the trigger and is flush out of the pocket
2nd Q 9:48 3rd and 12 very next play. Great designed play. Vandy is in Man coverage. PLay designed to go Jerrell Adams. Vandy blitzs. Middle LB he is lined up in "B" gap attempts to cover Adams running up the seam. If shaws Fades him toward the sideline it is a foot race between Adams and the safety rotating off the wide hash. Shaw fails to pull the trigger and is sacked.
