I-95 reconstruction: Crews to use NASCAR jet dryer to finish construction during upcoming rainy stretch
As the Delaware Valley is set to see a long stretch of rainy days, Governor Josh Shapiro says the state has a plan to finish reconstruction on I-95 by the weekend despite the weather. That plan involves the use of a NASCAR jet dryer from Pocono Raceway.
A pretty innovative way of doing this as far as the use of glass nuggets is concerned.
They are working from the middle outward first to allow traffic in both directions. Pretty smart.
