Could the answer be as simple as hiring a new OC. Runs' deeper then just replacing the OC? Good news Gamecocks are 4-4 with four left. one of the question can 2 be won. But for now we are talking Offensive coordinator

Should the Gamecocks at the end of season fire Marcus Satterfield – Offensive coordinator?

Give OC Marcus Satterfield another year?

Thank heavens Clemson sucks this year too.  I think if we can find some (any) answers on offense, we might be able to beat Mizzou, and as bad as Clemson appears to be this year, maybe we could even beat them.  I can't even imagine being competitive against Florida or Auburn this year, so those are nigh on write-offs, but if we could somehow finagle wins against the other two, I could stomach a bowl loss.

I've always been a Gamecock optimist (wait 'til next year!), but I'll admit that I turned off the game before halftime in the last three games.  I couldn't bear to watch us squeak out a W against @#$%!!! Vandy, though I figured we'd probably win in the end, and any game that starts out in a 28-0 hole is one too damaging to the psyche to continue.  I don't need to see us win every week, but I want to watch the team do something, not just start out by cratering.  That's gonna lose me every time.

Agree on the possible wins/losses going forward.  I'll watch to the end no matter how it tears me up.  Can't stand Basketball and baseball you have to be there.  My sports life lasts 12 maybe 13 weeks.

Frank in late to early 70s was a fun time Folger wining the SEC another and of course Frank few years back final 4 show. Can be fun and the same for a lot of Gamecock Baseball.

My son was a team manager when they won the SEC under Fogler.  He has an SEC Championship ring.

Man, what can I  say that has not been said already, I 've been an Gamecock since before the 70's grew up watching Basketball at South Carolina,

I remember all the up's and downs in all the sports, but I have grown tired of going and watching an bad ugly football team. I know kids want to play

for an winning program but hey it starts with the some of the coaching, I mean the talent is not there so if you are an 5 star how about Carolina could come and start today.  I agree with some people what is the O line doing I mean nothing right.

I hope Beamer can fix this quick I don't know of another Coach that wants to be at Carolina more than him, if this University is serious it will give him the monies needed to get the best O.C. in the business.  That will not fix everything but sure would help I don't think Satterfield is the answer I think you have to look really hard at the end of year  at this.    I keep saying it we need players not just cause an kid has an 5  star beside his name. You have got to be able to make the right calls when you have the ball that would help as well.  It's easy to coach after the game but hey Carolina needs to ask itself are we serious or are we just o.k. with being bad.   Beamer has already lost 4 or 5 big time recruits he will need some type of splash at end of year to help him.   IU think he has an real shot at 6 -6 year still, but it has start with O.L.

While I haven’t been a fan of Satterfield I don’t know if I can blame it all on him.  He has constantly talked up his guys and tried to coach them.  Most of the issue are on the field, not blaming the kids for them because of the revolving door at almost every position.  If your on the 100% need to fire Satt side a few questions need to be asked.

1) Who is the QB? We are 8 games in and may have to start a 3rd QB of the season.  Not to mention the constant over throws.

2) Who is a playmaker? While we have a couple of good TE no one is scared of them, no one fear any receiver on the team.  This goes hand in hand with the QB.

3) O-line and RB, protection for run or pass has been terrible at best.  That being said we don’t scare anyone with the pass so they aren’t afraid to bring multiple blitzes or stack the box.

Now the issues I see with Satt, we only seem to call screens when teams are in passing defense.  I don’t see hot routes for blitz and I don’t see simple routes.  When I say simple pass plays I mean things like rolling the pocket right when the ball is on the left hash.  Simple slant routes.  These are plays that put completions in front of the QB and not have them scanning the field.  This isn’t a video game and at some point he has to do the simple things first.
