POLL TIME: Now that the 2021 FB season is in the books

Would you call 7-6 bowl win over the Tar Heels a successful 2021 campaign? Most analyst predicted at most 3 wins. Coach Beamer has that chip on his shoulder and speaks his mind like Spurrier in ways but his own touch. Lot of fans wanted Satt. Gone and I was leaning that way, but tell you the truth us fans for 99.9% of us have never coached a leak in any sport less football. We shell see what's instore for Satt in 2022 with a talent offense I myself give Satt a chance he did not have much to work with here for 2021. "2022 should be more completive," 

With all that is said how do you rate the 2021 season?

I voted very happy.  The defensive effort was excellent and I'm highly encouraged by the coaching on that side of the ball.  The offense showed flashes but the QB situation makes it difficult to truly evaluate it fairly.  The preparation and execution of the UNC game was simply outstanding and is a great sign for the future.

I haven't been this optimistic about GC football since the 5 in a row tater beat down.  It will be a glorious day when we once again beat them.

I voted Happy. If we had won some of the games we had a chance to, it would have made a difference, but I’m really close to very happy now. 
The difference in this team from a year ago is night and day. There is so much hope and excitement surrounding this program now. Coach Beamer has done a phenomenal job. Getting shut out by Clemson really sucked, and losing to Kentucky again really torqued me up, but everywhere I look I see good things happening. 
The culture is changing and attitudes are changing, and I’m excited to see it, and we all have Coach Beamer to thank for it. Many people thought he was in over his head, but I believe he has proved them wrong in the first year. A good buddy of mine has been saying all year that “Beamer isn’t the guy”, and today he told me he may have been wrong, and Beamer may very well be the guy to change it. The win loss record is great, but seeing players excited and not giving up, even when they are getting stomped, means so much to me. I freely admit that I was fully on board with the “fire Satt” crowd, and I appear to have been wrong. Hoganman pointed out in another post about how much crap Satt had to deal with, and the inconsistencies of available QB’s and O-linemen. I, stupidly, had not taken any of that into consideration, and was blown away with what he was able to do when he got to work with one QB for a month. Now we have Rattler, and the two other highly rated QB’s coming in, with the addition of Stogner at TE and Jaheim Bell is really turning it on. Top that off with Parker White tweeting and putting recruits on notice that South Carolina is the place to be now!  
I’m so pumped, and I can’t wait till next season. We have another really tough schedule, and I’m sure there will be disappointment, but I’m so excited about what is happening.

I voted Happy - especially with the Bowl win. Very Happy would have been had we not gotten embarrassed by a number of teams.
