Predicting which freshmen play in 2019

Thanks to the NCAA’s rule four-game redshirt rule, the South Carolina Gamecocks coaching staff won’t be forced to make any firm decisions this week about which first-year players will be counted on this fall.
The flexibility allows for Will Muschamp & Co. to monitor the progress of those freshmen and decipher at various points in the season whether or not they should be asked to play in more than four games. However, there are a handful of freshmen who could be trending towards extended playing time in 2019, either on his side of the ball or as a special teams contributor. (VIEW ARTICLE) FREE 247SPORTS
