Presser at 10 am Monday

Mason would be the cherry on top - but am very interested at the other two open spots as well - WRs and DBs - the two spots we need most coaching help.

Are there any dbs still with the program to coach? I'm 95 percent joking

Grim humor but spot on. We have a pair of JUCO CBs in this class - one can only assume as of now they are starters.
Hey at least we avoid the next coach having to overcome any lingering bad habits the past coach taught

Will be on USCSports.com soon after it is done I'm sure; I'm on the call right now as well and will be writing it up for the site.

Is there a link?

Is this to introduce the three we hired or the 3 remaining spots...DC, WR and DB?
My apologies - I jumped the gun when they announced the presser and assumed it was about the last three, not the first 7.

Cam Smith started and came on nicely - I would expect that he would compete for a starting spot, along with people like O'Donnell Fortune.

Then you have Jaylin Dickerson and maybe RJ Roderick at Safety (not sure if he is coming back after opting out), and Rush got some PT along with Zaquandre White. We are thin and not as experienced, but there is some talent in the secondary - just need a coach that can teach them press coverage.

I expect that we will add a transfer or two - If we get Mason (who coaches DBs), look to see a Vandy player or two come over.
If anyone picks us over LSU, it would be shocking. Let's have reasonable expectations so we're not disappointed when we aren't instantly defeating a team one year out from a national championship. If LSU wants Mason, it is delusional to think we can compete in terms of talent, opportunity, or salary
