is the fact Gameday will be at the game in Gainesville this week. I've heard some of the comments made on ESPN Saturday night and sunday morning, and while it was a loss, I think to go toe-to-toe and making gutsy calls on that last scoring drive still has us sold as one of the premier teams in the country. We get RESPECT points for this gauntlet stretch of the schedule, and we had a chance to win a game in a place that very, VERY few would have been in the running for last night.

The Georgia game showed what our team and home field can accomplish, but last night made us tougher and more battle tested, IMO. I'm sure everyone, including me was shaking their heads when we decided to go for it rather than kick the FG, but Spurrier sent a message that we will go down swinging, and that earns respect as well. Les Miles has made a living at LSU making against the grain calls like that, and it's worked for him. I think it shows that our coach knows we have play makers and will take risks to try to rally the troops. I admire that, and I hope playing in that atmosphere, and getting the ball run on us for the first time this season will have us more than ready and fired up to roll in and out of Gainesville leaving plenty of Gator carcasses to make handbags and boots out of. It also gave Shaw a chance to see what he can expect to see teams try to do to stop him, so that's a plus as well, I think.

Let's just get to Atlanta and see what happens.
