Pringle looking ahead to some fall visits

By SPORTSTALK / August 24, 2022

1661334703802.pngTop 2024 prospect OT Kam Pringle (6-7 315) of Woodland had a busy spring and summer visiting and camping at a number of schools. Those stops included USC, Clemson, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio State, Auburn, Kentucky and Virginia. All of those schools have offered along with Penn State, Texas A&M, NC State and Michigan State.

Pringle plans to announce a short list of schools on September 13th. He’s also planning to see games at some of the offering programs. He will be at USC for the Georgia game. He also will get to Clemson, Tennessee, NC State and Georgia for games.

Shane Bamer and offensive line coach Greg Adkins have the Gamecocks strongly in play for Pringle who said the communication between he and the Gamecocks remains consistent.

“I’ve been hearing from them quite often lately,” Pringle said. “Trying to study the relationship and build a good relationship. Of course, Carolina is still a top contender for me, so we’ll see how things go.”

Clemson offensive line coach Thomas Austin is also doing his work with Pringle for the Tigers.

“I haven’t talked to them too much lately, but I still keep in touch with Clemson as they are also a top contender,” Pringle said. “I really like Coach Austin. He does a great job recruiting me and being real and keeping his word as a man. He’s doing the best he can do and making sure I’m a priority guy.”

Outside of the two state schools, Pringle said Tennessee, Georgia, Ohio State and NC State were the out of state schools making the most noise with him at this point. He does not yet have a declaration date in mind.
