Prospect guest list for the Arkansas game
October 06, 2017
Confirmed are the number of prospects as visitors for the 4 p.m. Saturday showdown against Arkansas:
2018
• 4-star LB Dax Hollifield (Shelby, N.C.): It’s official visit No. 2 for Hollifield, who went to Florida State last month after linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler watched one of his games. Hollifield took an unofficial trip to Virginia Tech last weekend and will return later this month for official visits. North Carolina and Stanford are also in line for official visits.
• 3-star S Israel Mukuamu (Bossier City, La.): The Florida State commitment took an official visit last weekend to Indiana. He’ll return to his home state of South Carolina for an official trip to Columbia.
• 4-star OT Dylan Wonnum (Tucker, Ga.): South Carolina and Auburn have traded places as the leader for his commitment. Saturday will mark his second trip to Columbia this season. Wonnum has been to South Carolina an awful lot during the last year or so since his brother enrolled. The old adage of follow the visits is probably in play here.
• 4-star WR Josh Vann (Tucker, Ga.): The top-rated prospect in South Carolina’s 2018 commitment class was in town for the first home game of the season against Kentucky.
• 4-star QB Dakereon Joyner (North Charleston, S.C.): The No. 2 overall prospect in the 2018 commitment class was also in town for the first home game of the season against Kentucky.

• 4-star OT Warren McClendon (Brunswick, Ga.):McClendon, who’s a cousin of South Carolina co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach Bryan McClendon, also has offers from Alabama, Clemson and Georgia. He’s ranked as the No. 20 offensive tackle.
• 4-star OT Michael Tarquin (Belleview, Fla.): Clemson, Miami, Michigan and Ohio State have offered Tarquin, who’s been to South Carolina several times over the last year or so, including a stop this summer during camp season. He’s ranked as the No. 18 offensive tackle.
• 3-star OL Chris Akporoghene (Seymour, Tenn.): Indiana, Memphis, South Carolina and West Virginia have offered the native Nigerian, who’s listed as the No. 71 offensive tackle.
• TE KeShawn Toney (Williston, S.C.): Georgia State has offered the 6-foot-3, 220-pound prospect, who’s also receiving interest from North Carolina State.
